All Good Pups didn't start as a business idea. It started with a dog we love.

Our Golden Retriever had an itch she couldn’t stop scratching — red paws, constant licking, endless head shaking. We tried everything: diets, probiotics, vet visits, a canine dermatologist, anti-itch injections.

Eventually, we discovered she was allergic to nearly everything, from dust mites inside to the grass she loved outside.

And we learned something few pet parents realize: dogs absorb allergens through their skin. The best defense is to remove them through frequent washing.

That simple truth inspired All Good Pups — helping pet parents manage their dog's environmental allergies as effectively as possible.

Meet Our Muse

Lainey is our Golden Retriever who is allergic to more than 50 things in the environment, including grasses, weeds, dust, dander, pollen, trees, insects and feathers. Her condition, called canine atopy, is lifelong and incurable.

Lainey is not alone. Atopic dermatitis is one of the most common dermatological conditions in dogs.

Successful management can include reduction in exposure to allergens, oral medications, hyposensitization ("allergy vaccines") and topical treatments.

Reducing Lainey's exposure to allergens through more frequent bathing has become an important part of our management routine and inspired the creation of All Good Pups.
